"(I)f Democrats had wanted Gore to be president, they should have voted for impeachment." - Comedian Argus Hamilton TCN -- They probably did vote for impeachment, they just punched the wrong hole! WE DEMAND A RECOUNT !!!
"Only in Florida has public dumbness become a matter of fashion. 'It was so hard to tell who and what you were voting for,' says Eileen Klasfeld, a voter in Palm Beach. 'I couldn't figure it out, and I have a doctorate.' She didn't say a doctorate of what, and, to protect her alma mater, declined to say from where. These people couldn't get an order straight at Denny's. They're demanding a new election, but anyone who can't find a punch hole with an arrow shouldn't be voting in the first place. How do they find their way out of bed?" - Wes Pruden,
"The Republicans are more respectable than the Democrats. The Democrats will drive us over the cliff at eighty miles an hour - you know wearing tatoos on their body and casual clothes. The Republicans will have a necktie and a sport coat on, and they'll stay within the speed limit, but we're still going over the cliff. We need to do more than just change drivers. We need to change directions." - Howard Phillips, Constitution Party
"Christian America must wake up to the fact that our problem is not Al Gore; it is our own compromise and our own cowardice. Likewise, the solution is not electing a Republican to the White House; it is elevating God to His rightful place in our hearts, in our homes and in our society.
It is not a political party that is going to save this nation. Liberty and national blessing are the gifts of God. They are given to those who are willing to stand and fight for the same sacred principles that our founders held so dear.
Blaming third party candidates won't get the job done, either. The future of this republic rests not with George Bush and the Republican Party, but with each and every one of us being willing to hold ourselves, and those we elect, accountable to those same immutable laws." - Chuck Baldwin
Q. How many Palm Beach voters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A. None. They can't find the hole.
"Leaders of Florida's Seminole tribe filed suit today in federal court,
claiming that the use of arrows on election ballots was demeaning and
intimidating to Native Americans. The suit alleges that nearly 19,000
members of the tribe, who had intended to vote for George W. Bush, became so
distraught at the sight of the arrows that their hands began to shake
uncontrollably, causing them to mispunch the ballot. The chief of the tribe
noted that many of these people left the polls in tears, and came to him
saying they 'knew they had punched more than one hole in the ballot.' The
suit calls for the scalp of the local election officials who designed the
ballot."
What happened (the raid on the Gonzales home) was a reflection of policies that have built up through many administrations. Not just Clinton, not just Bush, but even the Reagan Administration, the Carter Administration. You know, we now have 45 federal agencies that have their own little S.W.A.T. teams like the one we saw - with the ski masks and the assault weapons and camoflage outfits - in Miami on that sad day when the law-abiding Gonzalez family had their home invaded with 151 federal storm troopers participating. There are 80,000 of those storm troopers now working for 45 federal agencies, just an incredible assault on the principle of Liberty. They talk about taking assault weapons from the people. We need to take the assault weapons from the government because what we have seen is the incremental build-up of the kind of standing army, against which the Founding Fathers warned. And with the emergency powers that have been declared by President Reagan and Nixon and Carter and Clinton and Bush, the ability of the President unconstitutionally to suspend our liberties is overwhelming. We've got to turn that around. We need a party that believes in the Constitution; that stands for the same things for which Jefferson and Washington and others stood when this country got under way. And neither the Democrats or the Republicans stand for that today.
[ Howard Phillips on Chuck Baldwin Live ]
As you are probably aware, if the voting results in Florida stand as they are now, George W. Bush will be our next President. This will have catastrophic results in our vital, no, indispensable entertainment industry.
Barbra Streisand, Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon, Whoopie Goldberg, Alec Baldwin, among many others have sworn to leave the country if George W. Bush is elected President.
And this is where YOU can help. We need volunteers to help pack and to load moving vans. We also need volunteers to provide airfare for these irreplaceable national treasures so they can relocate before they can change their minds.
For the cost of a small SUV you can sponsor one of these celebrities and their unfortunate relocation. You will know that your efforts are helping when you receive postcards, letters and pictures from your chosen "refugee"as they learn to become a useful citizen in the third world country of their choosing.
You will help, won't you. It costs so little, but it means so much.
