Indianapolis Baptist Temple

Supreme Court Chief Justice Renquist has refused to intervene in the IRS grab of IBT's property in Indianapolis today. The church is planning to hold a prayer meeting and Dr Dixon intends to stay in the pulpit until federal officers drag him out of it.

This administration began with an assault on a fringe group in Waco and the church remained relatively quiet. To its shame more objection was raised by non-Christians than by the Church. Clinton-Gore will now end with this assault on a fifty year old independent Baptist church and Christian school and even less will be said, again to the shame of the Church.

Do we really think this will end with IBT? Do we think it will end when Clinton is evicted? Fundamental Christianity is in the way of the New World Order. Any regime with the NWO as its goal will at least be working to hinder the ministry of fundamental churches if not out-right attacking them.

WAKE UP CHURCH !!!

Dems Started Stirring Florida Controversy On Election Day

WASHINGTON (AP) - Faced with a cliffhanger election, the Democratic Party directed a telemarketing firm on Election Night to begin calling thousands of voters in Palm Beach, Fla., to raise questions about a disputed ballot and urge them to contact local election officials.

The Democratic National Committee paid Texas-based TeleQuest to make the calls Tuesday night - while polls were still open - alerting voters in the heavily Democratic enclave in Florida of possible confusion with the ballots they cast.

``Some voters have encountered a problem today with punch card ballots in Palm Beach County,'' the script for the call said. ``These voters have said that they believe that they accidentally punched the wrong hole for the incorrect candidate.''

``If you have already voted and think you may have punched the wrong hole for the incorrect candidate, you should return to the polls and request that the election officials write down your name so that this problem can be fixed,'' the script said.

The firm took the names and numbers of voters who said they may have cast an errant ballot, providing the Democratic Party a list of about 2,400 voters in the county who thought they may have misvoted.

If voters were about to go to the polls, the script called for the caller to instruct them to ``be sure to punch Number 5 for Gore-Lieberman'' and ``do NOT punch any other number as you might end up voting for someone else by mistake.''

Florida Ballot Not Confusing To 4th-graders

By Julie Foster of WorldNetDaily.com

Thirteen fourth-grade students yesterday had no problem selecting Vice President Al Gore on the Palm Beach County ballot currently cited by Democrats as "too confusing."

The 9- and 10-year-olds at Fairfax Christian School in a Washington, D.C., suburb were given a copy of the disputed "butterfly" ballot and told to "mark the circle for Al Gore." All 13 students were able to accomplish the task in less than a minute with no errors.

Voters in Palm Beach County and staff at the Gore campaign argue the ballot caused thousands of confused voters to be "disenfranchised," since they may have either selected the wrong candidate or, realizing they made a mistake, chosen two different candidates, thereby invalidating their ballots.

The Gore campaign is reportedly contemplating legal action to obtain a revote in Palm Beach County.

In the meantime, teacher David Thoburn decided to see just how confusing the ballot really was. Most of his students in Vienna, Va., he said, are aware to some extent that the nation is anxiously awaiting the result of Florida's election and that it bears great weight on the presidential race.

"It was easy for them," Thoburn said. "My fourth-graders can't understand how adults could possibly have trouble marking the correct circle. It's a challenge to accept the explanation given for the current controversy. To do so would require questioning the intelligence of some voters in Palm Beach."

One fourth-grader told Thoburn that he would be happy to help voters in Palm Beach in the next election.

"I think he just wants to go to the beach," added the fourth grade teacher.

"I think it's real obvious that the problem here is not with the ballot -- the problem is with sour grapes," Thoburn continued. "If even fourth-graders can do the ballot just fine, I would think the adults could."

Non-citizens vote with 'Clinton card'?

By Julie Foster of WorldNetDaily.com

A mailer signed by Bill Clinton provided unofficial, paper "voter identification cards" to unregistered non-citizens in California, increasing the potential for rampant voter fraud today in the battleground state with the most electoral votes.

A 20-year-old Guatemalan legally residing in Los Angeles County received the "Clinton card" just three days before the election. The California Democratic Party, which paid for the mailer, said yesterday that information about recipients was taken from voter files. Such files are open to candidates and political parties for campaign purposes. However, WorldNetDaily today confirmed that the woman is not registered to vote and therefore does not have a voter file, raising serious questions as to the party's information source.

The Guatemalan woman and her mother, both of whom wish to remain anonymous, have struggled to obtain U.S. citizenship through the Immigration and Naturalization Service for the better part of decade, but to no avail. Surprised to have received the mailer congratulating her for registering to vote, the young woman contacted WND.

Though she does have a driver's license, Department of Motor Vehicles records are sealed for privacy purposes, meaning the California Democratic Party could not have obtained its information from that agency. Nor could the party legally have obtained pertinent information, such as her address and birth date, from the 20-year-old's confidential student record at the community college she attends in the Los Angeles. INS records are also sealed.

Tim Morgan, California's Republican National Committeeman and an election law attorney, was hard-pressed to think of a legal source the CDP could have used to obtain the Guatemalan woman's address and birth date.

"This is the stuff congressional investigations are made of," he said. "It's not clear to me at all how this could have happened. From the Dornan case, we know really how protected this information is. One is left to speculate."

In 1996, former California Rep. Bob Dornan attempted to access INS records during his investigation into alleged voter fraud in the state's 46th congressional district. His numerous efforts to obtain the records of certain voters, including a congressional subpoena, revealed the administration's tight grip on INS information.

Morgan added that should any unregistered voter try to cast a ballot using the Clinton card or other form of identification, legally the ballot should be set aside as "provisional." Provisional ballots are allowed in cases where voters' names are not listed on a precinct's voter roll and are not counted until registration is verified. That type of ballot is used most commonly among voters who have recently moved and not updated their registration.

The casting of a provisional ballot is the only case in which poll officials are legally allowed to verify a voter's identification in California.

California Democratic Party officials did not return numerous calls requesting the party's source of information for recipients of the Clinton mailer. However, a woman who identified herself as a volunteer became agitated at the question, saying she thinks the story is "crazy" and that she doesn't believe it is true. "That's just my opinion," she added.

Deborah Phillips, chairman and president of the Voting Integrity Project, doesn't think it's crazy at all. While she said she couldn't comment regarding the specific mailer in question, she does question activity that could mislead non-citizens into believing they can and/or should vote.

"I think that would be despicable to do that to people who work so hard to get here," she said, stating her belief that most immigrants would be appalled if they knew they were being asked to do something illegal.

Phillips also noted reports she has received from Florida where immigrants are being allowed to vote using their green cards and passports, despite the protests of bystanders.

"There's definitely activity going on which is extremely questionable," she remarked.

Though it was rumored the secretary of state's office had sent a special alert to California's 58 counties regarding the "Clinton card," a spokesman for the secretary denied such an alert had been sent. In the meantime, Californians must rely on election officials to be aware of and follow laws regarding provisional ballots to prevent votes from unregistered participants from being counted.

Integrity

Much has been said in the public media about "integrity" lately, the integrity of the election, the integrity of the candidates, etc. We would like to offer the following comments by Gen Krulak on the subject with the hope that we might have a fuller understanding of both the word and the urgent need for men of integrity.

REMARKS AT JSCOPE 2000 - JANUARY 2000

By General Charles C. Krulak

We study and we discuss ethical principles because it serves to strengthen and validate our own inner value system... It gives direction to what I call our moral compass. It is the understanding of ethics that becomes the foundation upon which we can deliberately commit to inviolate principles. It becomes the basic of what we are... of what we include in our character.

Based on it, we commit to doing what is right. We expect such commitment from our leaders. But most importantly, we must demand it of ourselves. Sound morals and ethical behavior cannot be established or created in a day... a semester... or a year. They must be institutionalized within our character over time... They must become a way of life. They go beyond our individual services and beyond our ranks or positions; they cut to the heart and to the soul of who we are and what we are and what we must be...men of character. They arm us for the challenges to come and they impart to us a sense of wholeness. They unite us in the calling we now know as the profession of arms.

Of all the moral and ethical guideposts that we have been brought up to recognize, the one that, for me, stands above the rest... the one that I have kept in the forefront of my mind...is integrity. It is my ethical and personal touchstone. Integrity as we know it today stands for soundness of moral principle and character - uprightness - honesty. Yet there is more. Integrity is also an ideal... A goal to strive for... and for a man to "walk in his integrity" is to require constant discipline and usage. The word integrity itself is a martial word that comes to us from an ancient

Roman army tradition.

During the time of the 12 Caesars, the Roman army would conduct morning inspections. As the inspecting centurion would come in front of each legionnaire, the soldier would strike with his right fist the armor breastplate that covered his heart. The armor had to be strongest there in order to protect the heart from the sword thrusts and from arrow strikes.

As the soldier struck his armor, he would shout "Ingegritas", (In-teg-ri-tas) which in Latin means material wholeness, completeness, and entirety. The inspecting centurion would listen closely for this affirmation and also for the ring that well-kept armor would give off. Satisfied that the armor was sound and that the soldier beneath it was protected, he would then move on to the next man. At about the same time, the praetorians or imperial bodyguards were ascending into power and influence. Drawn from the best "politically correct" soldiers of the legions, they received the finest equipment and armor. They no longer had to shout "Integritas" (In-teg-ri-tas) to signify that their armor was sound.

Instead, as they struck their breastplate, they would shout "Hail Caesar", to signify that their heart belonged to the imperial personage - not to their unit - not to an institution - not to a code of ideas. They armored themselves to serve the cause of a single man.

A century passed and the rift between the legion and the imperial bodyguard and its excesses grew larger. To signify the difference between the two organizations, the legionnaire, upon striking his armor would no longer shout "Integritas", (In-teg-ri-tas) but instead would shout "Integer" (In-te-ger). Integer means undiminished-complete-perfect. It not only indicated that the armor was sound, it also indicated that the soldier wearing the armor was sound of character. He was complete in his integrity... His heart was in the right place... His standards and morals were high.

He was not associated with the immoral conduct that was rapidly becoming the signature of the praetorian guards. The armor of integrity continued to serve the legion well. For over four centuries they held the line against the marauding Goths and Vandals but by 383 AD, the social decline that infected the republic and the Praetorian Guard had its effects upon the legion. As a 4th century Roman general wrote, "When, because of negligence and laziness, parade ground drills were abandoned, the customary armor began to feel heavy since the soldiers rarely, if ever, wore it. Therefore, they first asked the emperor to set aside the breastplates and mail and then the helmets. So our soldiers fought the Goths without any protection for the heart and head and were often beaten by archers. Although there were many disasters, which lead to the loss of great cities, no one tried to restore the armor to the infantry. They took their armor off, and when the armor came off - so too came their integrity. It was only a matter of a few years until the legion rotted from within and was unable to hold the frontiers...The barbarians were at the gates.

Integrity... It is a combination of the words, "Integritas" and "Integer". It refers to the putting on of armor, of building a completeness...A wholeness...A wholeness in character. How appropriate that the word integrity is a derivative of two words describing the character of a member of the profession of arms. The military has a tradition of producing great leaders that posses the highest ethical standards and integrity. It produces men of character. Character that allows them to deal ethically with the challenges of today and to make conscious decisions about how they will approach tomorrow. However, as I mentioned earlier, this is not done instantly. It required that integrity becomes a way of life... It must be woven into the very fabric of our soul. Just as was true in the days of imperial Rome, you either walk in your integrity daily, or you take off the armor of the "integer" and leave your heart and soul exposed... Open to attack. My challenge to you is simple but often very difficult... Wear your armor of integrity... Take full measure of its weight... Find comfort in its protection... Do not become lax. And always, always, remember that no one can take your integrity from you... You and only you can give it away! The biblical book of practical ethics - Better known as the Book of Proverbs - sums it up very nicely:

"The integrity of the upright shall guide them. But the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them." Proverbs 11:3.

Thank You.
