Clinton Disbarred? Not yet!

"This action is being taken against (Clinton) as a result of the formal complaints ... and the findings by a majority of the committee that certain of the attorney's conduct, as demonstrated in the complaint, constituted serious misconduct,'' says the letter to the Pulaski County Circuit Court judge in Little Rock. The recommendation of the Committee of Professional Conduct was that the President should be disbarred. Will it happen? It clearly should happen, but that does not mean it will.

Clinton has a knack for coercing, extorting, and some say murdering his way out of being accountable for his actions. Why will this be anything different? Bill Clinton was a very big duck in the little Arkansas puddle. He appointed many of the judges there during his reign as governor, and it is certain that many owe much to the man. It is truly doubtful that any will take him to task.

Eight of the fourteen members of the Committee of Professional Conduct refused to hear the case based on ties to Clinton. Be sure that the six who remained and stood for honesty and integrity will be personally attacked and maligned before anyone else gets a chance to hear the case. Call it a warning to any that dare stand against the Clintonistas.

Remember that the House impeached him, but the Senate didn't have the courage to find him guilty of those charges that everyone in the country watched him commit. I would expect the same lack of backbone from his old buddies in Arkansas.

U.S. Agrees to Total Nuclear Weapons Ban

The United States agreed, for the first time since the explosion of the first atomic weapon in 1945, to totally eliminate its nuclear arsenal.

The sweeping U.S. policy was made Saturday when the U.S. agreed with all other members of the U.N. Security Council to the worldwide elimination of nuclear weapons.

The agreement had the full backing of the Clinton administration and was endorsed by all five admitted nuclear powers - the United States, Russia, Britain, France and China.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Robert Einhorn led the U.S. team during the final negotiations.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan, elated at the agreement, declared it "marks a significant step forward in humanity's pursuit of a more peaceful world - a world free of nuclear dangers, a world with strengthened global norms for nuclear nonproliferation and disarmament."

No date or schedule for the disarmament plans have been set. But the Clinton administration has committed the U.S. to the new agreement, a continuation of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

The new agreement signed Saturday demands the "unequivocal undertaking by the nuclear-weapon states to accomplish the total elimination of their nuclear arsenals leading to nuclear disarmament."

Other protocols will require the U.S. to:

- make full disclosure of the nation's nuclear arsenal.
- begin lowering the "the operational status" of weapons.
- destroy nuclear warheads by first extracting plutonium and uranium from them.
- agree to another treaty prohibiting the making of fissile materials for weapons.

This latest agreement codifies Clinton administration policies that have sought to reduce and eliminate the U.S. nuclear stockpile.

During the past eight years almost the entire U.S. tactical nuclear stockpile - which was estimated at approximately 10,000 weapons - has been destroyed.

The administration has sought to greatly reduce the U.S. strategic nuclear stockpile, currently with 6,000 warheads, to a modest 1,500 warheads.

Such moves have met with some resistance from the Pentagon. Previous Clinton administration directives, according to some critics, have increased U.S. vulnerability to a Russian nuclear strike.

One Clinton directive changed the U.S. policy of "launch on warning" to one of "launch on destruction," meaning the U.S. can launch a retaliatory strike against Russia or China only if it confirms nuclear detonations on American soil.

Other Clinton administration proposals have called for welding shut the missile hatch doors on nuclear submarines and the removal of computer programs from land-based silos to locations 150 miles from the missile sites.

TCN - We understand that Saddam was over-joyed to hear that the rest of the world planned to lay down their weapons. Of course there is no commitment from the non-declared nuclear powers, so he might still have a fight out of Pakistan, India. North Korea or who knows who else. Anyone for a game of musical world powers?

Clinton's "Most Favored" Trading Partner

"In both moral and practical terms, however, approval by the U.S. Congress of Red China's membership (in the WTO) cannot be justified."

"The question of Red China's political and military intelligence on American soil is well established and has been very effective. It is common knowledge that extremely sensitive high-tech weapons technology is being deposited virtually nonstop into the war chests of the Chinese military and its armaments industry.

"At this very moment weapons production is running full force in China, using machines and technology directly stolen or semi-legally received from U.S. laboratories and corporations. This has greatly accelerated the development of their conventional as well as their mass-destruction weaponry."

"It is also well known that Red China continues to plant 'Agents of Influence' in the most vital areas inside the United States. These agents have succeeded in corrupting American politicians with election-campaign money from Chinese sources, most of which, directly or indirectly, lead back to the Chinese Peoples' Liberation Army and the Chinese general staff and special services."

"American businessmen should ask themselves, 'If Johnny Chung, who speaks the language and knows the culture, was eaten alive by the Chinese, what will they do to Americans?' I'll tell you what they'll do: They will suck the life-blood out of you, eat you up, and not even leave the bones."

"What happened in 1996 in the China-gate scandal, with Chinese officials trying to influence our elections and taking our nuclear secrets, was just the tip of the iceberg."

"Bill Clinton talks more like a Chinese government leader than an American president. They all speak the same language. That's why I'm asking you, my fellow Americans, whether you really believe this is a good deal for our country or not. How can we possibly be sure the Chinese Communist leaders will honor their contract as Americans honor ours? I can tell you from personal experience that they won't. They will sign whatever they need to sign and then take whatever they want. They won't honor any contracts."

The Chinese Market

PNTR was sold by stressing the opening of Chinese markets for US made products. Considering how little we still manufacture here, that is really laughable. When you consider the state of the Chinese economy, it becomes a downright lie.

The unemployment rate in china is at a 30 year high, a staggering 20%, with most of that falling in agriculture. Consumer spending is so soft that Beijing has ordered all foreign market-research firms to register with the State Statistical Bureau, says a U.S. business consultant in Beijing. Their survey questions must now be pre-approved and their results turned in for review. And it's now illegal to ask about consumer confidence in any form.

State-owned banks are failing. Foreign investment is drying up. Exports have flagged. The economy -- despite the claim of 7 percent GDP growth -- is stagnant.

Beijing's central planners have kept the economy afloat through fiscal pump-priming -- that is, by printing money. But now the government is taking on so much debt that economists are comparing its budget woes to Russia's.

Last year's budget deficit hit a record. Some 70 percent of current borrowings are going to service existing debt, Brain says. At 21 percent of GDP, China's debt is five times higher than it was in 1995, says Brookings Institution economist Nicholas Lardy.

What was it that did so much damage to the Chinese economy? It was the biggest military buildup on the planet. The Chinese Communist Party, which funds the Central Military Commission, has ordered eight years of double-digit hikes in military spending. Modernizing the military is the Chinese Communist Party's real aim in cutting a trade deal with the U.S.

"Since the Chinese government runs the banks, they will take Western loans and turn around and put them into the military," he said. It will also apply U.S. technology to develop new weapons systems.

The PLA controls some 15,000 companies. Though their sales total about $10 billion, most are poorly run and lose money.

Indianapolis Baptist Temple Abandoned By Their Peers

As I have been following the situation at Indianapolis Baptist Temple, there have been several things that have come to light. One of the most troubling is that MOST "fundamental, independent BAPTISTS" are at best quietly supportive and at worst openly critical of the stand that the Temple has taken. Allow me to update those of you who are unfamiliar with the story.

In 1997, the people of IBT felt led to "denounce" their 501C3 organizational status. This is, in laymen's terms, the "non-profit status" that permits the organization to receive funds and/or gifts in return for tax deductions for the donor. If you pay your tithes/offerings to a church with a 501C3 status, then you can deduct the amount of those "contributions" from your taxable income. In return for this "benefit", the organization is required to seriously limit any political activities, including what it's speakers can and cannot say from the pulpit.

Some years prior to denouncing the 501C3 status (1983, I believe), the church had voted to unincorporate. They feel that they do not need to be "recognized" by the state, nor be approved by the state, to do the work that the LORD has called them to do. They also did not believe that it was the responsibility of the church to be "tax collectors" for the government. At this time, they released all of their "employees" who officially became independent sub-contractors, responsible for their own taxes. Anyone familiar with business understands this. Since 1983, all of their ministers have filed taxes, paying both the "employers" and the "employees" share. Nearly 70 of the 80 individuals working at the church have been audited "entirely by coincidence". All have paid the taxes owed. The IRS has REFUNDED the "employer" portion to the workers claiming that it was not their responsibility to pay that portion!!! THOSE MONIES ARE THE GROUNDS FOR THE GOVERNMENT'S LAWSUIT! The IRS is asking for the taxes plus interest and penalties.

Why is it that independent Baptist churches are the MOST CRITICAL of ALL GROUPS (with the exception of the IRS, of course) of the stand that IBT has taken? Catholics, Episcopalians, Patriot groups, media, and Clinton Democrats have all come out against what the Clinton Justice Department is attempting to do here. Today I was given an article from "Nuevo", an EXTREMELY secular paper that put it as well as anyone has to date:

"I'm a Bill Clinton Democrat and I support the church 100 percent. Unlike most of the journalists covering the situation, I've actually attended services at the church. At no time did I hear any messages of hate or of intolerance there. All I heard was some of that good old-time religion, based on the New Testament. The Baptist Temple's enemy isn't the government; it's Satan. I don't believe that the church should have to participate in the income tax scheme if they don't want." He concludes his article by asking "Doesn't the government have something better to do, like holding Cuban children hostage or selling arms to the Iranians? Leave the Baptist Temple alone." - Steve Hammer.

If no one wishes to give me an "Amen" or an "Oh me" I'll know that I am indeed in the midst of a group of cowards. Enjoy pastoring your Church of the United States Supreme Soviet.
