The Bill and Jane Show

Bill Clinton spent $63 million of your tax overpayment on his visit to Vietnam. But all is not lost. At least one photo taken on that junket is competing with "Hanoi Jane's" famous photo for the "timeless images of treason" award. The New York Times featured a front-page photo of Clinton applauding before a bust of Ho Chi Minh.

Speaking of Jane Fonda, she just gave Albert Gore $100,000 to fund his Coup d' Tort. Like peas in a pod....

In fact Jane Fonda is the most famous of the wealthy donors who gave at least $100,000 to fund Democrat Al Gore's month long contest of the presidential election in Florida.

Internet billionaire Steven T. Kirsch was the largest donor to the Gore/Lieberman Recount Committee, according to Internal Revenue Service filings made public yesterday.

Mr. Kirsch, who founded search engine Web site Infoseek.com, gave $500,000 to bankroll Mr. Gore's $3.3 million effort to overturn Republican George W. Bush's certified victory in Florida.

Like most of the major donors to the fund, Mr. Kirsch is a frequent contributor to liberal causes.

Mr. Kirsch was also among the donors to Campaign for a Progressive Future, which sponsored telephone calls to voters during Virginia's Senate campaign that blamed former Republican Gov. George F. Allen for "gun violence" in the state.

Ms Fonda, estranged wife of cable television mogul Ted Turner, made headlines earlier this year when it was reported that she had given $11.5 million to fund an abortion-rights political group called Pro Choice Vote. This may have been done to counter reports in some media that Ms Fonda had become a Christian.


Florida Supreme Court Leaked Ruling

As bad as it is to be a Florida lawyer this evening, there is one advantage: You learn things before others do.

Here's what I learned from another Florida lawyer who is a Democrat: He was alerted at 11 a.m. today that he should get on a plane from Miami and head to Tallahassee in order to be involved in hand recounts of ballots.

How in the world would he know he was supposed to do that unless someone within the bowels of the Florida Supreme Court leaked what the ruling, which came down five hours later, was going to be?

This is yet more evidence of impropriety by the Florida Supreme Court: a heads-up to partisans to take steps to help deliver the state to Al Gore. What is a Republican to do? I have called the Miami-Dade County GOP offering to help as an observer at any recounting location. But the high court didn't tell me to do this. I heard it on the news.

Forget The Chads...Intimidate The Electors

Realizing he lost the battle of the chads as one court decision after another weighed against him, the Gore strategy has shifted from the very public, "I want every vote to be counted," to the very surreptitious attempts to either intimidate or entice the electors in the Bush-won States which do not have laws mandating that the electors vote for the candidates elected by the citizens of those States. As it stands at this moment, George W. Bush has 271 electorial votes. Al Gore has 267. If three of Bush's electors cast their ballots for Al Gore instead, Gore would theoretically win the election with 270 votes to Bush's 268...just enough to claim the office of the President of the United States. At least, that appears to be the strategy according to Gore strategist Bob Beckel (Walter Mondale's former campaign manager). And, as shocking as it may seem, Beckel has not been silent about what he is doing--proving once again that in the eyes of a Democrat, there is nothing wrong with stealing if you get what you want. Beckel, when asked by the media after rumors that he had authorized deep background checks on electors in the Bush-won States, boasted that he was "...trying to kidnap these electors in States that Bush won that are not legally bound to him, and that have a right to vote how they want." In other words, the Gore hustle for votes continues.

When the Washington Times contacted Gore, the Vice President said he would "...not accept their votes under those circumstances." Of course, Gore's actions belie his words.

At least one Florida elector has already from Beckel, and shudders at the sound of his name. Marsha Nippert said when she came home on election night, she found her phone lines cut. She said she has already received faxes, phone calls and letters with threatening tones saying she is not being patriotic if she is not willing to switch. The same thing is happening to Berta Moralejo. She is getting up to 25 calls a day, and she is being flooded with mail from all over Florida asking her to "do the right thing" and cast her Bush-committed vote for Al Gore. Surprisingly, all of the letters Moralejo gets are from people who claim to be "independents," not Democrats. In reality, they are Gore campaign workers.

While the Democrats think Berta Moralejo is just a little old lady they can intimidate, Berta is a tough old bird who was raised in communist Cuba and escaped in 1962. In 1998 she worked on Jeb Bush's campaign when he finally defeated the Democratic machine that controlled all of the big-vote voting precincts in southeastern Florida.

Once again, Al Gore and his "steal the vote" thugs have crossed the line, proving that Gore will do anything to steal the White House...and there is not one stolen vote he will not accept since he is convinced he was destined for greatness.


The Rumor Mill

Proverbial Washington insider and Bilderberger illuminate Vernon Jordan, the "friend-of-Bill" who found Monica Lewinsky employment outside the beltway during the height of the Clinton impeachment, was heard to say that when all the chads are counted, George W. Bush will prevail as the winner of the Election of 2000, and it will be Bush, not Al Gore, who is inaugurated as the 43rd President of the United States. One might speculate that Jordan, like the rest of America, is watching the television shenannigans of "History-has-destined-me-to-be-the-leader-of-the-free-world Gore," and his basing his opinions on the media reports that are updated by-the-minute, 24-hours per day. However, Jordan, the consummate insider, is not prone to speculation. He deals in the world of high stakes political reality and global power. He is the eyes and ears of the Bilderbergers in Washington. Jordan, unlike the rest of us, is not prone to idle speculation. When he speaks, politicians and bankers alike, listen. It is clear that the industrialists and bankers who backed George W. Bush with a $108 million bankroll are not going to let Al Gore, the man who believes he is destined to be president, steal the Election of 2000--regardless what the Florida Supreme Court does or does not do.
