We are sending 50 letters to President Clinton. These letters are from the children who are in our educational ministry (some of them are listed on DAY 31). For a love offering for the battle expenses, we will send you a copy of these letters. Just ask for the letters with your gift. The President can do one of three things. The President could:
2. He could put a moratorium until Jan. 20 and let the new President deal with it.
3. They could forgive the debt. Whether we believe we owe it or not. The Judge has made a Judgment and they could vacate the order.
Sunday Morning service:
The gifts and talents of God's people have always been hidden as far as the world is concerned. These gifts are more exciting than any gifts the world has ever thought to possess. The world makes the most of their talents in order to produce fame and fortune. But for God's people their gifts are dedicated to the glory of God.
At the time of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ the world did not recognize the greatest gift ever given to mankind. The most gifted person that ever walked on God's earth was born in a lowly stable in an obscure city in Palestine. The greatest gift ever known on earth at the time went unnoticed by the majority of the world other than a few shepherds on the hill side that were chosen to witness to the world. Though the world at the time did not recognize the greatest gift and most magnificent life ever given on earth, God still sent His only begotten son. In a little town in Bethlehem the Lord Jesus Christ came with only a few shepherds to witness and broadcast his birth.
On this Sunday morning at IBT we have seen one of the best productions of a Merry Christmas that has ever been presented. The scenery in a Hollywood studio could be no better. The wardrobe and color presentation resembled one of the most deluxe stage presentations ever seen on any Broadway musical. The choir voices, though only thirty, produced a great and swelling sound of praise unequaled any where on the globe. The mammoth choirs around the world could sound no better. The other choirs, no doubt have a great sound, but the IBT choir will rate among the top. One can only understand by being here, just now, in this place and time in history. Here at IBT are people that should be pressed down and wasted due to the extreme circumstances, but here, the people of God while under persecution present the joy and glory of that first Christmas morning.
Our thoughts race to another Church setting and another Church choir somewhere, in the U.S.A. The prosecutors, the Judge, the government officials from the White House, to the small house are seated in a Church building protected by the state. Are they reflecting upon the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ? Are they at peace with God? Do they consider the past few days, weeks and months in their moments of meditation? Do they still have to convince their own conscience that they are right in opposing the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ? Do they justify their actions by saying it is the "law". Do they think once again what they must have thought a thousand times, "But they are law breakers. They must be evicted from the House of God. They are lawbreakers by singing praises, praying and preaching to sinners. They are in violation of a Judge's orders. They do not have any legal standing to be in those buildings." Do they ever question their own decision concerning liberty and justice for all? All can practice their own faith as long as that faith does not conflict with public policy. If that is true, any logical person can see that public policy, then, is the dictator of religious beliefs in America. A person cannot hold sincere religious beliefs without being discriminated against. On this day with this special Christmas season program, do the government officials still plan to raid the Church the day after Christmas? Do they still plan to be the first in American History to violate the sanctuary of God and haul out praying believers from the house of God and cast them into the street? This scene is actually being played out in China at this moment in history. What the communist are doing in China, many wicked government officials are also trying to do in America.
The thought of this happening in America abruptly brings our attention back to this spirit filled Church service. The Pastor is now speaking. The gospel story is being presented by a dynamic presentation from the Word of God. "The Lord Jesus Christ came and provided Salvation for you today. If you want to be sure of possessing eternal life, you must repent of your sin and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour." The service was concluded with an invitation for sinners to turn to Christ and the choir presented a grand finale.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center's "Digital Hate 2001," is a compilation of some 3,000 "hate sites across the Internet." This list includes many sites where the only "hate" is a love of the US, supporting the US Constitution or simply supporting the second amendment.
I would invite you to stop by the Women Against Gun Control and see how much hate you can find. Whatever is there is enough to land them on this notorious Nazi hunter's list of dangerous hate sites.
Also on the list was a site promoting songs written extolling the virtues of "the land of the free and the home of the brave," but this, according to "Digital Hate 2001", is a hate site. It is also the basis of a patriot's income as he is a professional singer and song writer. The 20,000 to 30,000 people on Wiesenthal's distribution list are not very likely to buy many albums considering Wiesenthal's evaluation of the performer. It sounds like there could be a law suit in the making.
When asked what kind of criteria was used to evaluate sites for the list, the Simon Wiesenthal Center could not give any firm standard. It seems that it was just based on the whim of whoever made the list. Rabbi Abraham Cooper is associate dean of the Los Angeles-based center. Cooper stated that in all cases the center "followed the cheese of these extremist groups" and was led to believe the websites are hate-motivated. Cooper also said he was "not in a position to answer" questions related to criteria used to identify cyberhate. Additionally, the rabbi quickly interjected it would be more accurate to label the listed websites as "problematic" rather than hateful, despite the fact that the center's list is called "Digital Hate."
When liberals started talking about hate crime legislation, many conservatives shrugged it off as nonsense. How can you determine motive behind a crime clearly enough to find someone guilty of a hate crime? "Surely this would never stand up in court," we all said in our ignorance. But we forgot something. Several years ago in the "fight against crime" a major shift was made in the legal system. It was carefully worded to make it more palatable but the spin went something like this. The "burden of proof" would now lie on the defendant. In plain English that means the accused is no longer "innocent until proven guilty" but the burden to prove his innocence has been laid on him. He is guilty until he can prove he is innocent. Not the American way you say? It has been for over a couple of decades.
Although "hate-based" crimes have been accepted by the general public as needing punished much more severely than the same crimes based on some other criteria, we find that hate is a word that has yet to be adequately defined. The courts make judgments and dole out stiff penalties, but in many cases the basis of the "hate" ruling is more vague than the claim of "hate." This leads us to the situation at the Simon Wiesenthal Center. They seem to feel justified in calling "hate-based" anything that doesn't see the world as they do, though they have no specific criteria for that judgement.
We find it totally hypocritical for an organization named after a holocaust survivor to condemn those wanting to limit government controls and protest government abuses through non-violent means. Maybe they have all become cowards and just want to be on the side of the government the next time a holocaust takes place.
Memo to SWC: It won't happen in the US as long as we have our guns. You couldn't defend yourselves against Hitler because you had been disarmed in the name of crime control.

As a cynical friend of mine once observed, "Politics is a bar fight. When the chairs start flying, Democrats smash a beer bottle, jump on the table and snarl. Republicans respond 'Rook to Queen four, please'"

** Selection Of Texas Supreme Court Justice Al Gonzalez Bears On New Administration's Commitment to Right To Life
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch said on Wednesday that President-Elect George W. Bush's selection of Al Gonzalez to serve as White House Counsel provides the American public with new information about the commitment by George W. Bush to the "Right to Life." On March 10, 2000, Texas Supreme Court Justice Al Gonzalez voted with the majority in granting a 17-year-old girl permission to have an abortion without telling her parents. The Texas Supreme Court decision overturned two previous lower court decisions in Harris County, Texas courts.
The Texas law requiring parental notification for abortions for girls under 18 took effect January 1, 2000. Girls can "bypass" the law by proving in a confidential court proceeding that they possess the maturity and knowledge sufficient to decide to abort their child, or that notifying their parents would be "harmful." The girl had testified that, "If I were to have the child, my parents [would] be slightly upset to actually know I became pregnant and they are very against abortion." She said she opposes adoption and having the baby "would be holding me back from my future, what I want to become."
The Gonzalez appointment follows last week's nomination of pro-abortion Colin Powell as Secretary of State and Vice President-Elect Cheney's announcement that the new administration will not send any proposed legislation outlawing partial birth abortion to the 107th Congress. It is also likely known that Christine Todd Whitman will be selected for a Bush Cabinet position. Ms. Whitman is chiefly known for her vociferous support of abortion rights, especially partial-birth abortion.
"A qualification for high government service ought to be a commitment to right to life of all Americans - born and unborn. Mr. Bush's appointment of his friend, Mr. Gonzalez, to White House Counsel is a disturbing signal to all those Americans concerned with protecting the rights of the unborn and of parents. Pro-abortion extremism won't stop anyone from getting a job in the Bush Administration," stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

(Washington, DC) - The American Center for Law and Justice, an international public interest law firm, said today it will offer to defend a new federal law that requires public libraries to use computer software to block pornography - a new law that the American Civil Liberties Union says it will challenge.
"This is an issue about protecting our children," said Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, who testified before a U.S. Senate Committee in 1999 regarding the constitutionality of mandating computer filtering devices for public libraries. "It is our view that the claim made by the ACLU and other groups that the new law violates the First Amendment is legally flawed. It is clear that the U.S. Supreme Court on several occasions has ruled that the government has a compelling interest in protecting the physical and psychological well being of minors from the adverse effects of pornography. We believe this new law will clear any constitutional challenges posed by the ACLU or any other group. It is our intention to offer our legal services to defend this new law that constitutionally protects children who use the Internet."
The new legislation, which was introduced by Senator John McCain (R- Arizona), was passed last Friday by Congress and is expected to be signed into law by President Clinton.
The Children's Internet Protection Act mandates that any school or library that refuses to install Internet filtering software on its computers would lose federal funds for technology upgrades.
In March 1999, Sekulow appeared before the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and testified that the use of computer filtering devices to protect children from sexually explicit material and pornography is constitutional and urged that public schools and public libraries be required to use Internet filtering software for computer terminals utilized by children.
During the hearing, Sekulow also told Senators that the American Center for Law and Justice receives many calls from concerned parents who want to know what can be done to protect their children from offensive and sexually explicit material on the Internet. The written testimony presented to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation is available on the ACLJ website at www.aclj.org.

** The myths keep falling before an onslaught of facts.
Remember all those stories charging that the unruly mob that all but stormed the Miami-Dade election offices were a mob of Republican "thugs" who intimidated officials into calling off the recount?
It now turns out that most of the mob described as "thugs" were not GOP operatives at all, but reporters from the local Florida media demanding the right to witness the proceedings!
That's the story revealed today by talk show tycoon Don Imus. Now it's the mainstream media's turn to admit they fell for some sleazy Gore campaign propaganda and set the record straight.
We're waiting…

A squad of American soldiers was patrolling along the Iraqi border. To their surprise, they found the badly mangled dead body of an Iraqi soldier in a ditch along the road. A short distance up the road, they found a badly mangled American soldier in a ditch on the other side of the road, who was still barely alive. They ran to him, cradled his blood-covered head and asked him what had happened.
"Well," he whispered, "I was walking down this road, armed to the teeth. I came across this heavily armed Iraqi border guard. I looked him right in the eye and shouted, "Saddam Hussein is an unprincipled, lying piece of trash!" He looked me right in the eye and shouted back, "Bill Clinton is an unprincipled, lying piece of trash too!"
"We were standing there shaking hands when the truck hit us."
